Thomas Kleis (* March 25 1978 ) is a German jumping rider . Thomas Kleis came from an equestrian family, and was sitting in the saddle since early childhood. Later he was trained as a gas fitter and plumber. Then he decided to make riding to work. First, he spent two years at the plant by Heinz and Heiko Schmidt in New Benthen Garlitz and then in the training stables of the brothers Moeller.

With the change to the system by Wolfgang Neubert Sommerstorf he was sponsored by the KMG clinics, whose CEO is Neubert. During this time he made the jump in international competitions. He then moved from 2005 in Wendover , near Schwerin on the grounds of the castle, working for the Austrian Udo M. Chistée that Kleis also continue presents horses. Beginning of 2011 he started his own business and set up a tournament and commercial operations at the plant at Zuchthof Makowei in Gadebusch .

He has two daughters and lives with his partner in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
